BSNL @CMDBSNL says to launch unlimited voice calling RS 149 plan from January :- After Jio’s announcement of extension of free voice calls and data services, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) is all set to launch its updated plans with great tariff rates. Jio has launched its data services till March of the next upcoming year. BSNL launched a new plan and has updated its customers with unlimited local and national voice calls to other networks at just Rs 149 per month.
The scheme is fully to be launched on January 1, 2017 along with 300 MB data as well. The new plan is designed as to help compete BSNL with the Jio great offers. The entry of JIo has taken aback all the telecom service providers across the nation.
As per the Press statement issued by BSNL Chairman Anupam Shrivastava told that “we are working on a plan to allow unlimited voice calls to mobile subscribers at any network just at Rs 149 per month including 300 MB data as well”.
He also old that state-run telecom service provider BSNL is the only telecom network after Jio offering unlimited voice calling at low-cost tariff plans. The plan is considered to be a master stroke as like Jio great offers.
Analysts said that BSNL has ignited a new level of telecom war, with BSNL offering free lifetime voice calls for all their customers. Although, as like Jio’s free voice calls that are limited to only 4G users, BSNL has targeted for 2G and 3G customers also.
BSNL is also planning for cheaper data than Reliance Jio as per latest reports coming up. They have decided as to proffer cheaper data almost Rs 2-4 cheaper than what Jio is offering. These plans are expected to be rolled from January, 2017, and telecom service providers are with great buzz in the Indian market. It has really showed that BSNL was just keeping tab on the pulse of the market and has not changed with the latest plans as offered by Jio.
Anupam Shrivastava also said that “we are also planning to come up with lifetime free-voice plans from the New Year as part of fresh offerings with latest plans”. The company has devised the plan in such a manner that customers can now pay less than Rs 149 per month as what is the entry level plan for Jio 4G customers.
The company has decided to launch the plan and has directly challenged reliance much hyped low cost free voice calls plans. They have a plan as to attract new set of customers who are years away from $G network still in modern times.
How Will BSNL would manage Free Voice Calls?
The new lifetime free voice calls with cheap data plans would be rolled only to customers having installed BSNL’s broadband services at home with free voice calls as it is to be routed via home broadband connection and useful for taking free mobile calls. BSNL has also offered unlimited broadband at Rs 249 per month in the last month but the new plan roll out would complement its previous offers only.
