Sartaj Aziz Meets Afghan President Ashraf Ghani


Pakistan Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Sunday met Afghan President Ashraf Ghani during they meet there discussed ways to bring peace and stability of the nation Afghanistan. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the Heart of Asia gathering. Last night Both Ghani and Aziz had arrived in Amritsar. The bilateral meeting came in the midst of Afghanistan communicating its anguish over Islamabad’s not all that helpful approach towards the peace procedure in the war-ravaged nation.


The Afghan government has likewise been incredulous of Pakistan over rising fear assaults on Afghanistan by activist gatherings working from Pakistani soil. “They discussed prospects for peace, development, and stability in Afghanistan,” a source from Pakistani said.

The Process Heart of Asia-Istanbul was launched in 2011 and the participating countries include Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

The platform has suggested supporting security, political and monetary participation amongst Afghanistan and its neighbors.
