Rajnikanth the famous TV actor has requested his fans not to celebrate his birthday this time. It is just to mark respect and condolence to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. As per your kind information Superstar Rajinikanth, who will turn 66 on December 12, has requested his fans not to celebrate his birthday this time.
As per the announcement “Rajinikanth requested his fans not to celebrate his birthday,” as according to his manager Riaz Ahmed tweeted on Friday. Rajnikanth also requested his fans not to put up posters and banners. It is believed that Rajinikanth has taken this decision as a mark of respect towards the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa who passed away last week.
The 65-year-old actor is busy shooting for his film Shankar’s magnum opus, “2.o” as per latest reports. Rajnikanth also turned down Aamir Khan’s request to dub his character in Tamil latest version of latest upcoming wrestling drama Dangal as per reports last received.
In the recent interview as being asked more about what ways Dangal is unique, Amir Khan politely replied that “What attracted me about Dangal were its moments of humour”. This is just like Rajkumar Hirani film and is trying to say something about the same in the light-hearted matter. We have the same deadly combination of humour and dramatic moments with Dangal.
As a matter of fact Rajnikanth birthday is celebrated in a grand way by his followers and fans in the state but this time it has been officially stopped in view of devise of J. Jayalalithaa.
As per old reports, Jayalalithaa died in a Chennai based hospital on December 5 after a prolonged illness. She was 68 years of age only. Before she joined politics as a career, led the AIADMK and eventually became chief minister of Tamil Nadu and was working as a film star in more than 140 films. Earlier a letter written by Jayalalithaa to journalist went viral in the year 1980. She has revealed the fact that she turned down a role opposite Rajinikanth in Billa released last year only. The role was eventually taken up by actress Supriya.
Rajnikanth is busy preparing for Shankar’s 2.0, a sequel to his 2010 hit film Enthiran. Rajnikanth has reprised the role of Dr Vaseegaran and is pitted against another scientist, Dr Richard as the role played by Akshay Kumar.
