Challenging Dzire: New Honda Amaze to launch on May 16th 2018 :- Japanese Carmaker Honda is set to launch the second gen- Amaze on 16th of May in the Indian Market. The sub 4-meter sedan was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018 and all the details about the car have been revealed now. The new Honda Amaze will be launched on 16th May but the interested buyers can officially book the vehicle too for an amount of Rs. 21,000. With boxy design, Honda’s new Amaze looks much like the Honda Civic.
Talking about the looks, new amaze looks nothing like the current generation sedan. It now gets a new bumper, headlamps and a new grille. The tail lamps have been updated with a new C-shaped design. The new Honda Amaze 2018 also gets new alloy wheels.
New Honda Amaze 2018 Launch Date
The new Honda Amaze 2018 will be available in four different trim levels – the base E, S, V and VX. With four powertrain options – both the 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and the 100hp, 1.5- litre diesel will get the five-speed manual and the option of a CVT automatic. Sporting new Digipad 2.0, Amaze is supported by 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is Android Auto and is also compatible with Apple CarPlay. Not only this, the Amaze comes with features like MirrorLink and a Wi-Fi connection to a synced phone for live navigation information.
Honda has added a keyless entry that will allow the users to enter the vehicle without touching the key and then start it too. With both petrol and diesel variant, new gen Honda Amaze will be supported by 1.5 litre engine that will come with tuned up power and better fuel efficiency.
Overall, the all-new Amaze looks quite like premium and will take on the likes on the key rivals Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Ford Aspire and Volkswagen Ameo. Speculation is high that Honda is likely to price the Amaze slightly higher than its competitors. It is expected that the new Amaze will be priced at around Rs.5.5 lakh.
