It looks like that Real Madrid‘s midfielder James Rodriguez is taking an exit from the Spanish club and heading to Premier League in the upcoming transfer window. FIFA removed transfer ban on Los Blancos for the January transfer season. It means that Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will have enough options to change players to adjust his starting eleven and leave some players to adjust the budget for the upcoming transfer window.

The Colombian midfielder was clearly unhappy after Real Madrid’s club world cup win final as he didn’t get a chance to play for even a minute.

It started after the French coach took over the club a year ago. His midfield squad doesn’t include James Rodriguez rather the new manager prefers Casemiro in the middle along with Modric and Kroos midfield.

Although, it is confirmed that James will leave Real Madrid and join any big clubs from Premier League. He is going to get more opportunity to play there so it makes sense to leave Spain after all.

The Daily Mail believes that James would like to join  Antonio Conte’s side even though he has an offer from Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus as well. Jorge Mendez is the current agent of 25-year-old Colombian midfielder who handled almost all the top players in the business. He will get an appropriate deal for James. Real Madrid paid €80 million to him after his stunning performance in the World Cup 2014. Los Blancos won’t give him away cheaply for sure.

Chelsea would be a perfect team for Rodriguez and Conte’s tactics are suitable to his playing style. There is another report on Colombia-based newspaper El Tiempo that Rodriguez is going to acquire a UK work permit for moving in England which confirms that James is heading to Premier League.

James’s exit is going to clear things up for Zidane for Los Blancos as it seems. It will be very helpful to bring in new players in the next transfer window too. What’s your thought about James Rodriguez exit from Spain? Will it be a turning point  for his career?
