It’s time for the second semi-final match of the Indian Super League (aka ISL). Kerala Blaster is going to host Delhi Dynamos on 11 Dec 2016. Kerala finished second right above the Delhi to reach the semi-finals.
Both teams have seen ups and downs to reach this stage. Kerala will be pumped up even more as they will be playing at their home with roaring fans. They have lost only once at home and it will give them a positive momentum towards the semi-final match on this Sunday.  Delhi has been the top scoring team in this season.
But they had drawn here last time. It could be completely different this time as their strikers are in good form along with the marquee midfielder Florent Malouda, who will be in charge to create goal scoring opportunities from the midfield.
Delhi would be focused on the backline to keep their defence solid to stop the attackers from Kerala Blasters. Delhi will try to score desperately to take advantage of an away goal in the second leg of the semi-final match at their home.

Kerala Blasters: Starting Lineup

Mehtab is going to come back to the starting eleven from his suspension in the previous game. Also, the left back Josu would get a place in the starting eleven after recovering from his injury in the match against Kolkata.

Delhi Dynamos: Starting Lineup

Zambrotta allowed rest for some players to prepare for this big battle, and they will be back on the field on this Sunday against Kerala Blasters at their home in the first leg of semifinals.

KEYS TO THE Success:

The Yellow Brigade

Yes, the twelfth man would be massive for Steve Coppell’s side as acknowledged by him in the last match. The football lovers of this small state of India always turn up for their team in numbers as they have for the last couple of years and Zambrotta, who knows what’s it like to play at the highest of stages, would have some work to do to keep his players motivated for this crunch clash.

The Fantastic Four

Delhi Dynamos scored 27 goals and became the top scoring team in this season. It showed their goal scoring talent especially when you have players like Marcelinho, Malouda, Kean Lewis and Gadze. All of them scored.

There will be a lot of expectation on these four players from the coach and the fans. Marcelino is the top scorer with nine while Gadze scored five in the tournament so far. This duo managed to shot 39 shots on target. In fact, Dynamos had total 84 shots on target in this season.

The European Defence

Kerala’s defence has been one of the strongest defence in the ISL with their strong four consisting of the veteran Hengbart and Aaron Hughes. They have been clinical in games where they snatched victory by small margins and it could be a key moment for the game on Sunday.
