IIT JEE 2017 exam date confirmed :- The government has released the dates of its most awaited exam, IIT JEE 2017 examination schedule. Recently government shared that the JEE exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 2, 2017.

As soon as the date got released, students pulled up the socks and laced their shoes tight, in order to crack the same. But everyone seemed quite confused regarding the date to fill the forms. JEE is the main exam which every student aspiring to be an engineer needs to give and score well in order to get selected in a good college.

Saying that the future of an engineering aspirant is totally dependent on the result of this exam won’t be wrong at any point. Looking at its importance, one can easily judge the level of excitement and hustle to fill the forms and accomplish all preparations.

In its recent press release, CBSE shared that the offline JEE exams will be conducted on April 2nd, while the online mode is scheduled for April 8 and April 9, 2017. Talking about the date to fill the application form of JEE 2017 exam, CBSE shared that the forms will be available from December 1, 2016, and the last date to fill the forms for JEE main 2017 will be January 2, 2017.

Alongside these, this time CBSE has also introduced new eligibility criteria for JEE main 2017. Under this, the students are entitled to fill their Adhaar card number in their JEE application 2017 form.

The IIT JEE exam is the first step for the engineering aspirants over their boulevard to be a successful engineer. So we would like to share some major points that you need to keep in mind.

  • You need to fill Adhaar card number in your JEE exam 2017 application form
  • The JEE 2017 AIR will be calculated without normalized score of 12th marks
  • This time the qualifying candidates won’t just get the IIT, but you have the chance to get selected in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The qualification marks for 2017 in the above-mentioned institutes is 75% (class 12th)/in list of class 12th top 20 while for SC/ST candidates this will count 65% marks.
  • For JEE advanced 2017 which is scheduled for April last week, top 2,20,000 student of mains will be shortlisted this time.
