Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help President-elect Donald Trump win the White House, it concluded by CIA and it was not only to develop confidence in the US electoral system.Agencies of US intelligence have assessed that Russian government officials devoted to increasing attention to Mr. trump while supporting Mr. Trump’s effort to win the election, as the 2016 presidential campaign drew on, a US official said.
After overviewing the matter made by the US officials, yesterday the Washington Post reported that US intelligence agencies have identified the individuals who have connections with Russian government who had provided many hacked emails Democratic National Committee, including the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, to WikiLeaks.
US President Barack Obama has passed and ordered to all intelligence agencies to go through cyber attacks and review any foreign intervention into the 2016 election and provide him a report before he leaves office on 20 January.
By this year autumn, hackers from Russia had turned almost all their attention to the Mr. Trump success. “That was a major clue to their intent,” the official said. All the emails released publicly were against Mrs. Clinton and the Democrats, the official told Reuters.
“If all they wanted to do was discredit our political system, why publicize the failings of just one party, especially when you have a target like Trump?” An official said.

Russian officials have denied all the accusations made on them regarding US election. A CIA spokeswoman said the agency had no clue on the matter.
The emails passed to WikiLeaks were hacked and it included sources of embarrassment to the Clinton campaign during the election for the presidency.
Analysts from US intelligence have assessed “with high confidence” that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s government had decided to support Mr. Trump and increased his chances of winning.
The Russians have been in support of Mr. Trump because he would be much friendlier to them than Mrs. Clinton mainly on the issues like economic sanctions and impose additional ones, one of the officials said.
The official said that In the next German election, Moscow is launching a similar effort to influence the election, following campaign to promote far-right and nationalist political parties.
In both Europe and the United States elections Mr. Putin’s campaigns, are intended to disrupt and discredit the Western concept of democracy by promoting extremist candidates, parties, and political figures said the official.
President Obama said that he has warned Mr. Putin about consequences for the cyber attacks.
Mr. Trump has said that Russian officials were not behind the cyber attacks.Yesterday, His transition team issued a statement on “claims of foreign interference in US elections” but did not directly address the issue.
